About Darrell

Singapore-born Darrell Ang has been Music Director of the Orchestre Symphonique de Bretagne since 2012. Trained in St. Petersburg, Russia and Yale, USA. Ang won the prestigious Besancon International Young Conductors’ Competition in 2007, following in the distinguished footsteps of Seiji Ozawa and Jesus Lopez Cobos and like them, he has gone on to conduct many of the world’s leading orchestras.
