About Andrea

Andrea de Flammineis trained at the Conservatorio Giuseppe Verdi in Milan and at the Hochschule fur Musik in Stuttgart. Aged 22, he became the youngest person ever to be appointed Principal Bassoon at the Orchestra della Toscana in Florence, a position he held for 4 years. He is currently Principal Bassoon with the Orchestra of the Royal Opera House Covent Garden, Professor at the Royal College of Music and gives masterclasses regularly.
